Inside and out
Things move, rush, flow
Walk and fly
Space, however, does nothing
But it contains and is contained
Surfaces touch
Friction, bouncing, rolling
Creating light, creating sparks
I hear footsteps and see
A man's feet
Clad in brown office shoes
He feels my presence
Enjoys the mystery, doesn't ask who I am
I know who he is
But don't remember his name
We have dreamed of each other
Will we cross the veil
And enter that mystery
To show one another
The love we need to be?
Things move, rush, flow
Walk and fly
Space, however, does nothing
But it contains and is contained
Surfaces touch
Friction, bouncing, rolling
Creating light, creating sparks
I hear footsteps and see
A man's feet
Clad in brown office shoes
He feels my presence
Enjoys the mystery, doesn't ask who I am
I know who he is
But don't remember his name
We have dreamed of each other
Will we cross the veil
And enter that mystery
To show one another
The love we need to be?
